Had two hilarious and fun nights in a row this week.
workworkworked.
Getting my bike painted.
I love these videos so bad:
this is from the baxter, which may be one of my favorite movies, and i could watch the end over and over and over and over.
goodnight.
Sunday
these will never ever get old.
Thursday
I really like old people, especially old women driving old pick up trucks. However, today as I was thinking about how it normally strikes me humorous, I was overwhelmed with sad scenarios. What if this sweet woman is driving this truck because she had to sell her burgundy or cream buick to pay for funeral expenses for her sweet old man husband, who just so happened to own said truck? Not funny.
This is from a documentary shown on Channel 4 in the UK called 'Young@Heart'; the name of the New England octogenarian chorus line. The performer here is Fred Knittle, who suffers from congestive heart failure. This song was intended to be a duet between Fred and another chorus member, Bob Salvini. Sadly, Bob died of a heart attack and it was left to Fred to carry the song on his own. If I'm correct, the people you see crying at 01:13 are Bob's family. The lady you occasionally see mouthing the lyrics in the audience is Fred's wife.
Monday
I don't know if I've ever laughed so hard at a trailer. I'm pretty excited to see this.
Tonight we saw Be Kind Rewind with AP & EP, Rhett, Andrew & Paul. I love Jack Black, really.
I am also slightly obsessed with this program on the Travel Channel called Living With the Mek Tribe. Something about an indigenous village whose inhabitants wear vegetables on their genitals is pretty riveting.
Nichole's wedding is this weekend! (I still have nothing to wear & no gift & no ideas for either one) David played with the Glorious Unseen tonight in Indy but since we already had movie plans I didn't go. We're heading to Nashville a day in advance to see people before the wedding, so we'll catch up then. I feel guilty when friends come to town & I don't see them. SO- if you ever come this way & I don't see you, know that I really would love to, I'm just horrible at coordinating schedules, & David, if you're reading this, I'm sorry. I'll see you friday.
